Biosketch
Saba is a graduate research assistant working with Dr. Zitomer to evaluate emerging and proven technologies for sustainable wastewater treatment in developing and developed countries.
She is determining a combination of technologies that is suitable to treat wastewater from flushed toilets. The goal is to develop practical secondary and tertiary processes to use along with electrolysis in a packaged, decentralized wastewater treatment unit.
Saba graduated with a B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Ferdowsi University in Mashhad, Iran. She is pursuing a M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering at Marquette University.
